Computer Science Club

  • Meets every Friday: 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. in rooms 102, 105, & 118
  • Students learn about: Programming, Web Development, Software Development, Competitive Programming, & Introduction to Programming in Java
  • Guest speakers and other topics of interest
  • Organizes and runs events in the club and school for a variety of purposes: learning sessions, programming contests, guest speakers and more

 

Robotics Club


  • Meets every week
  • Students learn about: Robotics, Electronics, Designing, Building & Programming
  • Prepare for and participate in competitions

Contests:

  • Beaver Computing Challenge (Grades 9 -10)
  • Canadian Computing Contest (Grades 9 - 12) administered by University of Waterloo
  • ​​​​York Region District School Board’s Programming Contest
  • ECOO Contests
  • Club run contests
  • Robotics Competitions

 

Field Trips

Field Trips to Universities, Software Developing Companies and other establishments with relevant curriculum connections
